Thanks for stopping by! We’re Elli and Lewy, an acoustic duo from Adelaide, Australia called Woodfolk.

Lewy is a skilled multi‑instrumentalist with many years of live performance experience. Self-taught on acoustic guitar, electric, banjo, keys and harmonica, Lewy uses live looping to build rich layers of sound in real time. Elli has always loved music and performing, growing up with stage and dance training, later refining her voice through years of vocal lessons, combining technical skill with the natural joy of live performance.

We got started on our musical journey together through a family band project (we are actually cousins through marriage) and while the band didn’t make it past Uncle Chris’ 60th Birthday shindig - Nanna is a diva, what can we say - we had a great time playing together and created Woodfolk from the creative ashes.

We love to be inspired by artists like Bon Iver through to Bob Dylan, finding beautiful, unique ways to cover all the best songs and also write our own originals. Whether we're playing under the festoon lights in a vineyard, creating the perfect wedding aisle moment, or filling a garden party with laid-back tunes, we bring a warm, soulful sound that blends timeless songs with heartfelt feels. Think Zach Bryan, The Lumineers, Bon Iver, Caamp, Cat Clyde and loads of other delicious and indie folk vibes.

We both hail from the Adelaide Hills, and while were not playing music we are chasing other hobbies like hiking and spending time with our fam and friends and exploring the local coffee shops and wineries.

We are so excited to bring you the music we love for which ever special moment you had in mind.
